Visual Inspection
The engineer will check the boiler and its controls for any visible issues. They will look for signs of corrosion, leaks, or other damage that could affect the boiler's performance.
Internal Inspection
The casing of the boiler is removed to inspect internal components. This includes checking the heat exchanger, burner, main injector, and spark probe to ensure they are in good condition and working properly.
Flue Check
The flue, which removes fumes from the boiler, is inspected to ensure there are no obstructions or unsafe emissions. A gas tightness test is carried out to ensure the system is sealed and functioning properly.
Cleans Components
Some components, such as the burner and heat exchanger, may need to be cleaned to improve efficiency.
Final Report
After all checks are complete, the engineer provides a report on the boiler’s condition, highlighting any issues that need attention and confirming the boiler is safe to use.
Gas Pressure Check
The engineer will check the gas pressure to ensure it is at the correct level for efficient operation.
